…Let the Lord be magnified, which has pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. Psalm 35:27

21 Sep

Let that sink into your heart…and believe it. God wants His people to be blessed. He takes pleasure in blessing His children. What father wouldn’t? Why wouldn’t God want to bless His people? He didn’t just create us to leave us alone; to never have anything to do with us. God wants the best for us. Let this scripture get settled in your hearts.

Magnify the Lord! I’m not going to get into the questions that might be popping into your head. Questions that would like to discredit this scripture by looking at the current state of the world. Sin is the root of all evil. Sin looks out for itself and leaves a path of destruction behind. We can see this destruction everywhere we look. We see a world that is quickly deteriorating because it will not yield to the original plan of a giving God; a God who has the best interest of His children.

God says that we have not because we ask not. What do you need today? I dare you to ask Him for it. I dare you to put your fears and questions to the side and jump in. Jump in His arms. Let Him take care of you. His prosperity is for today. It includes everything that affects you. His abundance is limitless. Our prosperity gives Him pleasure.
